What is Joint Injection and Benefits ?

Ultrasound guided injections are safe and simple. They effectively reduce pain and inflammation to your affected area, in a minimally invasive way. It is  preferred to taking medication everyday, by local injection drug act immediately, require smaller dose and  minimise side effects

Ultrasound helps examine the "inner '' joint and get precise location of the insertion point. It guarantees an accuracy of a procedure and eliminates risk and complications. You can get in at the NHS, but you may be put on a long waiting list, while with us it will be done with no delay.

What is the inject's products  into joints?

- Steroids ( to reduce inflammation aa in arthritis)

- Hyaluronic acid ( to improve stiffness and mobility)

- PRP ( to rejuvenate joints tissues , lubricate joint, postpone degeneration of a joint , restore its function as  well as decrease pain there )

It should not have any pain for the first few hours. However, when the local anaesthetic wears off, your pain may return. Sometimes this initial pain can be a little worse than before the injection. This generally settles within 48 hours, you can take regular analgesics such as Paracetamol and Ibuprofen if required.

Most people notice an improvement in their symptoms within 2-3 weeks. The benefit can last for months or may be permanent.

• Give you a chance to ask any questions you have about your treatment.

Rare complications

·         Allergic reaction to local anaesthetic or steroid

·         Increase in blood sugar levels for diabetic patients.
